CPC Courses are, at best boring and at worse not worth the money. Now that I have completed my 5 modules, 4 of which were with Andrew, who has a special way of getting the point of some things into my head, believe me that is no small feat. I have thoroughly enjoyed all modules that NCT arranged for me, plus the fact it is now done via Zoom just helped me to remember it. The whole experience was so simple, right from booking a full 5 day course, to today, where I can say 'no more til next year' same place, different dates.
I wouldn't hesitate to book again with NCT. 10/10 for the guys and girls in the office, the ones we don't get to see. The price as well, considering there I'd so many Lorry and Coach Drivers that, like me have left it to the last minute before renewing their CPC Cards. My advice on that one would be to shop around, I did and NCP were by far alot cheaper than most of the others I contacted.

What are the entry requirements for the RTITB Instructor course?
To attend the course, you must have at least 6 months of industrial forklift operating experience and hold a current, in-date forklift certificate (Counterbalance or Reach). Your operator certificate must be RTITB or a recognised equivalent.
Do I need to be an RTITB qualified operator before taking the course?
Yes. Candidates must hold a valid RTITB (or recognised equivalent) operator certificate on the relevant machine type before starting the instructor course. If your certificate is from another scheme, please contact us to discuss equivalency.
How long is the instructor course?
The standard RTITB Instructor course is 10 days long, including a final examination and assessment. For existing instructors requiring re-registration, the course is 3 days.
What qualification will I receive?
Upon successful completion, you will become a Registered RTITB Lift Truck Instructor, allowing you to deliver operator training under the RTITB scheme. Your details will be registered on the RTITB national database.
How long is the instructor qualification valid for?
The RTITB Instructor qualification is valid for 5 years, after which a re-registration course must be completed to remain qualified. We recommend booking your re-registration well before your qualification expires.
Does the course fee include RTITB registration?
No, the course fee does not include the RTITB Instructor Registration fee, which is payable directly to RTITB upon successful completion. This applies to instructors registering to work at accredited centres (it does not apply to in-house instructors). We'll advise you on the current registration fee and process.
What if I don't pass the final exam?
We offer support and feedback throughout the course to help you prepare thoroughly. Our high pass rates reflect our commitment to ensuring candidates are fully prepared. If you don't pass first time, we'll discuss your options for a re-test or additional training.
Is funding available for this course?
We can advise on any available funding routes or payment plans. Some employers may fund instructor training as part of professional development. Contact us directly to discuss your options.
