Fire Safety in the Workplace

Fire Safety in the Workplace is a one hour online Level 1 awareness course for every employee, written for staff with no prior fire safety knowledge and suitable across office, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, warehouse, healthcare and education environments. It is the cost effective way for employers to discharge the duty under Article 21 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to provide fire safety information, instruction and training, a duty most fire risk assessments require to be repeated every 12 months. Six modules cover fire safety law and your responsibilities, how fire starts and spreads, workplace fire hazards, fire detection, alarms and means of escape, a working knowledge of fire extinguishers, and what to do when the alarm sounds. Each module ends with a short knowledge check and the course is assessed by a single 15 question multiple choice paper. Fully online on phone, tablet or desktop, with progress saved automatically and six months of access. Pass and your NFAQ digital certificate is issued within three working days, valid for three years.
