It is a recomendation that all premises selling alcohol and other age restricted products should provide sufficient training to allow staff to gain the sufficient knowledge of age restricted products and strategies to use to assist in age verification and where necessary the refusal of service or sale to customers that are not of the required age to make a legal purchase.
This course will identify a wide range of restricted products not just alcohol and tobacco. We will explain why certain products are restricted and what harm can result in these products being sold to children or young people.
