In-House Forklift & MHE Training in Leicester
We deliver RTITB-aligned forklift and MHE training directly at client premises in Leicester and across Leicestershire. Our instructors regularly support warehousing, manufacturing and logistics environments operating within this nationally significant Midlands hub.
Established industrial and commercial sites across Leicester — including Meridian Business Park and Hamilton Industrial Park — operate equipment ranging from counterbalance trucks through to reach vehicles and powered pallet trucks. Each site presents distinct risk profiles that training is structured to address directly.
Each visit is planned around your site's operational schedule, minimising disruption to production and despatch while ensuring all assessed operators receive fully documented competence records.

Instructor Application
×Leicester sits at the end of the M69, which starts on Nuneaton’s doorstep. From our training centre in CV11 we can be at Junction 21 of the M1, where the M69 terminates, in around 20 minutes, and that junction happens to be the centre of gravity for Leicester’s warehousing. It is the most natural patch in the country for us to cover, and forklift courses in Leicester and Leicestershire make up a large share of our on-site diary.
Where we deliver forklift training around Leicester
Most of the lift truck work in the city clusters along the western edge, within a few minutes of M1 Junction 21. Our RTITB instructors regularly train operators at employer sites on and around:
- Meridian Business Park, just off Junction 21, where distribution occupiers have included DHL Supply Chain and Akzo Nobel
- Grove Park in Enderby, beside the M1 and M69 interchange, home to large office and distribution operations including ESPO and Topps Tiles
- Braunstone Industrial Area, close to Junctions 21 and 21a, with occupiers such as Co-op’s distribution operation and Eddie Stobart nearby
We also cover sites across the wider city and county, from food manufacturers in the north of Leicester to textile and logistics businesses towards the M1 corridor. If your premises are anywhere in LE postcodes, you are inside our core catchment.
Training at your Leicester premises or at our centre
For most Leicester employers, on-site delivery is the practical choice. We bring the course to your warehouse, your trucks and your racking, so operators are assessed in the environment they actually work in. All we need is a reasonably level area of around 30 metres by 10 metres, a truck in safe working order, and a quiet room or corner for the theory sessions. Because Leicester is only around 19 miles from our Nuneaton centre, there are no accommodation costs for our trainers and scheduling is straightforward, including split shifts where your operation cannot release everyone at once.
If you only have one or two people to train, or no suitable space on site, our training centre in Nuneaton CV11 is a short run back down the M69, and candidates can join a course there instead.
Do you charge travel for forklift training in Leicester?
Leicester is one of the closest cities to our Nuneaton base, roughly 25 to 30 minutes up the M69. Our trainers travel out and back each day, so there are no accommodation or subsistence costs built into on-site delivery anywhere in the Leicester area.
Which forklift types can you train on in Leicester?
Counterbalance and reach trucks account for most of the demand we see from Leicester warehouses, and we also deliver courses for pallet trucks, PPT, and other workplace transport categories. Tell us what equipment your operators use and we will match the course to it.
Is the certification recognised nationally?
Yes. We are an RTITB-accredited training provider, so successful candidates are registered on NORS, the National Operator Registration Scheme. The certification is recognised by employers and insurers across the UK, not just in Leicestershire.
