Closer to the city centre, Britannia Enterprise Park and the Eastern Avenue trading estates carry a broad base of smaller manufacturers and trade suppliers, most of which keep at least one lift truck on site.
Our training centre in Nuneaton is around twenty miles away along the A5, so Lichfield operators have a genuine choice: send one or two people to a scheduled course at our centre, or have an RTITB instructor come to the site. For teams of three or more, on-site delivery on your own trucks and in your own racking layout is usually the more practical option, and there are no overnight or accommodation costs at this distance.

We only have one forklift driver. Is on-site training still worth it?
For a single operator it is usually more economical to join a scheduled course at our Nuneaton centre, around twenty miles down the A5. On-site delivery comes into its own from around three candidates upwards.
Do you train on rough-terrain or telehandler equipment in the Lichfield area?
Yes. Alongside counterbalance and reach trucks we deliver telehandler and other plant categories on site, subject to the equipment and ground conditions available at your premises.
