Overview
The touch screen test, with the preparation built in
The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for Operatives is the touch screen test required for most CSCS card applications, including the Green Labourer card, most Red cards and the Blue Skilled Worker card. It checks that you have the health, safety and environmental knowledge to work on site safely.
Plenty of providers will sell you the test on its own. We include the preparation, because a failed test costs you a wasted trip, a resit fee and a delayed card. Your package opens the online preparation course the moment you order, covering every subject area of the test across ten modules, and includes a full length 50 question mock exam you can sit as many times as you like. When you are passing comfortably, we book your real test at a Pearson Vue centre near you, and your result is printed the same day.
Applying for your first Green card? Our CSCS Green Card Package adds the Level 1 Health and Safety qualification the card requires, with the test included, in one bundle.

National Compliance Training is an independent training provider and third party booking agent. We are not CITB and we are not part of CITB or CSCS. The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test is a CITB product, delivered at Pearson Vue test centres, and the same test can be booked directly with CITB for the test fee alone. Our price includes the CITB test fee plus our booking service, preparation course, mock exam and support. Passing the test depends on your performance on the day, and no preparation product can guarantee a pass. Tests can be rescheduled free of charge with sufficient notice, normally at least 72 hours before your appointment. Missed appointments and ID failures forfeit the CITB test fee.
