Description
Benedict’s Law training for your whole school
The Whole-School Licence gives your school up to 100 places on Benedict’s Law: Allergy Safety in Schools for 12 months, for £150 + VAT. Once it is bought, the places appear in your school’s NCT organisation dashboard, where you assign them to staff, including new starters, supply staff and volunteers who join during the year. Please buy the licence while signed in to your school’s NCT account.
Since 1 September 2026, section 34 of the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026 has required local authority-maintained schools, academies and pupil referral units in England to have an allergy safety policy, review it at least once a year, publish it, and have regard to the DfE statutory guidance, “Allergy safety in schools” (July 2026). The guidance also expects “spare” adrenaline devices, a named senior leader, and allergy awareness training at least once a year for all staff, including supply staff and volunteers. Regulations are planned to make these legal requirements, but none had been made by 21 October 2026.
